Driving at Work Risk Assessments.

The duties under the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 place specific duties on an employer to assess the risks to employees associated with his undertaking.

With road traffic accidents accounting for significant numbers of injuries on our roads this presents a foreseeable risk to any employee who drives a vehicle in the course of his work.

All employees who drive vehicles whilst at work (excluding journeys to and from home to their normal place of work) either in a company owned vehicle, or a private vehicle for which travel expenses are claimed, should review the company Driving at Work risk assessment and complete the driver authorisation form.

Note

To complete the assessment you will need information from your driving licence and insurance details
