Fire Risk Assessments.
Article 9 of the regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order requires the responsible person at each and every location in the business to have a suitable and sufficient risk assessment undertaken to identify the general fire precautions needed to be undertaken.
In all cases the "Responsible Person" will be the person in charge of each business location supported by the company officer responsible for health and safety.
The risk assessment must be regularly reviewed and findings or recommendations implemented by the Responsible Person.
Fire risk assessments across the business are completed by external competent assessors and copies of those assessments are retained on Safety Portal.
