DSE Risk Assessments.
Regulation 2 of the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 requires every employer to perform a suitable and sufficient analysis of workstations for employees who "habitually use display screen equipment as a significant part of his normal work"
All office based employees will therefore complete the Display Screen Equipment training assessment below. Additionally any retail based or mobile employees that habitually use computers for more than 5 hours in any 24 hour period shall be required to complete the assessment.
Note
The DSE Risk Assessment sign off sheet is combined with all other "Secondary" assessments, and should be completed once only for all secondary risk assessments.
